Wedsend is a bespoke wedding website studio. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we never sell your data to anyone.

From couples: the details you give us in the questionnaire — your names, contact details, wedding details, your story, design preferences and any photos or inspiration you upload. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

From guests: only what's needed for your website to work — names, RSVP responses, menu choices, dietary notes and the contact details you upload for invitations. Guests' phones and email addresses are used solely to send the invitations you ask us to send.

We also collect basic technical data, such as which pages are visited, to keep the service running smoothly. See our Cookie Policy for the full picture.

Everything you share is used to design, build and host your website, to send your guests their digital invitations and RSVP reminders, and to respond to your messages. That's it — no marketing lists, no profiling, no resale.

A small number of trusted service providers help us run the platform — our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting infrastructure. Each only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Your website and its data stay live for as long as your celebration needs. After the wedding period, we keep order records for as long as required for accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise them. Guest details are deleted once your website is retired.

You can ask us at any time for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Where the law applies, we'll respond within one month. Guests can exercise the same rights over their own details.

Data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Only the studio team working on your project can see your details, and we use app-level permissions so customer accounts can only access their own orders and guest lists.
